A nice option is to take the toboggan down from the Gemmi towards Daubensee and then take the cable car back up to the mountain station.

For our taste, the official toboggan runs are rather steep.

For more adventurous children and adults, however, this can be a real adventure – each family decides for themselves what suits them best.

Practical tips for families

A baby carrier is ideal for smaller children.
A sled is almost always worthwhile, even without long downhill runs.
Pack a change of gloves and warm clothes
Allow plenty of time for the mountain railway ride, especially in good weather.
Picnics are a good option because breaks can be taken flexibly.
Alternatively, the restaurant at the mountain station offers a beautiful view and a children's play area.
